Klima retten mit Genuss: Klimaschmankerl auf Naturfreundehütten

Unsere Ernährung hat einen maßgeblichen Einfluss auf unseren ökologischen Fußabdruck. Der Ernährungssektor ist für mehr als ein Viertel der weltweiten Treibhausgasemissionen verantwortlich, wobei ein Großteil tierischen Produkten zugerechnet wird. In den letzten 20 Jahren hat sich der weltweite Fleischkonsum mehr als verdoppelt. Aktuell werden rund 70 % der gesamten landwirtschaftlichen Fläche der Erde für tierische Produkte beansprucht und die Tendenz ist weiterhin steigend.
Mit ihren Klimaschmankerln gehen ausgewählte Naturfreundehütten und Umweltzeichen­betriebe in ganz Österreich nach dem Motto „Gut für uns, gut für unseren Planeten!“ mit gutem Beispiel voran und bieten ihren Gästen kreative vegetarische oder vegane Gerichte mit regionalen Zutaten an. Die Bedeutung der Wiederherstellung der Natur in Europa

In der EU befinden sich 81 % der geschützten Lebensräume, 39 % der geschützten Vögel und 63 % der anderen geschützten Arten in einem schlechten oder sehr schlechten Zustand, so die Europäische Umweltagentur (European Environmental Agency EEA). In einer aktuellen Studie zeigt sie die Bedeutung der Wiederherstellung natürlicher Lebensräume und die Erhaltung der Artenvielfalt in Europa als Schlüssel zu funktionierenden Gesellschaften und Volkswirtschaften auf: So hängen etwa 84 % der Nutzpflanzen zumindest teilweise von der Bestäubung durch Insekten ab, die Wiederherstellung von Lebensräumen für Bestäuber trägt zur Ernährungssicherheit bei. Die Renaturierung und Vergrößerung der Flächen von Wäldern, Feuchtgebieten und Seegraswiesen erhöht ihre Speicherungskapazität für Kohlenstoff und verbessert ihre Widerstandsfähigkeit gegenüber den Auswirkungen des Klimawandels. Und nicht zuletzt werden die Gesundheit, das Wohlbefinden und die Lebensqualität der Menschen verbessert, wenn mehr Grünflächen zur Verfügung stehen und die Umweltverschmutzung verringert wird. Licht für das Dorf Kpotomey
Das Dorf Kpotomey in Benin braucht noch unsere Unterstützung, um weitere Solar-Straßenlampen auf seinen Straßen zu installieren. Helfen wir gemeinsam CREDI-ONG, der federführenden Organisation des Projekts und C-Mitglied der NFI, um das Projekt erfolgreich abzuschließen! Das Projekt selbst wird zur Reduzierung der Treibhausgasemissionen beitragen. Denn durch den Einsatz von Solarbeleuchtung wird der Nutzungsdruck auf natürliche Ressourcen, insbesondere Holz, verringert. Hier erfahren Sie mehr über das Projekt ---

Die Hauptziele unseres (staatlich anerkannten) Vereins werden sein, an Initiativen für nachhaltigen und solidarischen Tourismus teilzunehmen, unserer Stimme Gehör zu verschaffen (in Spanisch und Esperanto, das den Respekt für regionale Sprachen symbolisiert) und unsere Ideale zu verwirklichen.

Saving the climate with pleasure: Climate delicacies at Naturefriends Houses

Our diet has a significant impact on our ecological footprint. The food sector is responsible for more than a quarter of global greenhouse gas emissions, with a large share attributed to animal products. Over the past 20 years, global meat consumption has more than doubled. Currently, about 70% of the world's total agricultural land is used for animal products and the trend is still rising.
With their climate delicacies, selected Naturefriends Houses and eco-labelled restaurants all over Austria are setting a good example by offering their guests vegetarian or vegan dishes with regional ingredients according to the motto "Good for us, good for the planet!". More informations --->
 

The importance of restoring nature in Europe

In the EU, 81 % of protected habitats, 39 % of protected birds and 63 % of other protected species are in poor or very poor condition, according to the European Environmental Agency (EEA). In a recent study, it highlights the importance of restoring natural habitats and conserving biodiversity in Europe as key to functioning societies and economies: for example, some 84 % of crops depend at least in part on pollination by insects, and restoring habitats for pollinators contributes to food security. Restoring and increasing the area of forests, wetlands and seagrass beds increases their carbon storage capacity and improves their resilience to the impacts of climate change. Last but not least, people's health, well-being and quality of life are improved when more green spaces are available and pollution is reduced. More informations -->

Lighting up the village of Kpotomey
The little village of Kpotomey in Benin still needs our support in order to install a couple of solar street lamps on its streets.
Let's join CREDI-ONG, the lead organisation of the project and C-member of NFI, to complete the effective implementation of this project! The project itself is expected to contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The use of solar lighting will reduce the pressure on natural resources, especially wood. Juan, congratulations on your election as the new president of ESPERANTA NATURAMIKARO. What are your goals for the next few years?
A very cordial greeting to the readers! Thank you for the congratulations. The main aims of our association (recognised by the state) will be to participate in initiatives for sustainable and solidarity tourism, to make our voice heard (in Spanish and Esperanto, which symbolises respect for regional languages) and to realise our ideal.

In Europe, fossil gas use can be halved by 2030 and completely phased out by 2050 – but requires a fast ramping up of energy efficiency and renewable energy, as well as the electificion of applicants in the buildings and industrials sectors, as a study by "Agora Energiewende" shows. Public transport is too expensive in many European countries, a new analysis by Greenpeace Central and Eastern Europe shows. Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece and Norway scored worst in the ranking of national transport tickets, while Dublin, London, Paris and Amsterdam ranked worst for the capitals. More informations --->

Notre alimentation a une influence déterminante sur notre empreinte écologique. Le secteur alimentaire est responsable de plus d'un quart des émissions mondiales de gaz à effet de serre, dont une grande partie est imputable aux produits d'origine animale. Au cours des dernières 20 années, la consommation mondiale de viande a plus que doublé. Actuellement, environ 70 % de la surface agricole totale de la planète est consacrée aux produits d'origine animale et la tendance est toujours à la hausse.
Avec leurs « spécialités-climat », une sélection de refuges des Amis de la Nature et d'exploitations écolabellisées dans toute l'Autriche montrent l'exemple en proposant à leurs clients des plats végétariens ou végétaliens à base d'ingrédients régionaux, selon la devise « Bon pour nous, bon pour notre planète ! ». Dans l'UE, 81 % des habitats protégés, 39 % des oiseaux protégés et 63 % des autres espèces protégées sont en mauvais ou très mauvais état, selon l'Agence européenne pour l'environnement (EEA). Dans une étude récente, elle montre l'importance de la restauration des habitats naturels et de la préservation de la biodiversité en Europe comme clé du bon fonctionnement des sociétés et des économies : ainsi, environ 84 % des cultures dépendent au moins en partie de la pollinisation par les insectes, la restauration des habitats pour les pollinisateurs contribue à la sécurité alimentaire. La restauration et l'augmentation de la superficie des forêts, des zones humides et des herbiers marins augmentent leur capacité de stockage du carbone et améliorent leur résilience face aux effets du changement climatique. Enfin, la santé, le bien-être et la qualité de vie des populations sont améliorés lorsque davantage d'espaces verts sont disponibles et que la pollution est réduite. En savoir plus --->

Éclairage pour le village de Kpotomey
Le petit village de Kpotomey au Bénin a encore besoin de notre soutien en vue de l’installation de quelques lampadaires solaires dans ses rues. Rejoignons CREDI-ONG, l'organisation responsable du projet et membre C de l'IAN, pour achever la mise en œuvre effective de ce projet ! Le projet lui-même devrait contribuer à réduire les émissions de gaz à effet de serre. L'utilisation de l'éclairage solaire réduira la pression sur les ressources naturelles, en particulier le bois. Les buts principaux de notre association (reconnue par l'état) seront participer aux initiatives pour le tourisme durable et solidaire, faire entendre notre voix (en espagnol et en espéranto, qui symbolise le respect pour les langues régionales) et réaliser notre idéal.
